Levski Sofia secured their first Parva Liga title since the 2008-09 season in 2025-26, which granted them entry into the qualifying rounds for the Champions League this year. Having not participated in European competitions since their consecutive Europa League appearances in 2009-10 and 2010-11, the Blues are keen to mount a strong qualifying campaign and earn a spot in one of the three European tournaments. In their first Champions League qualifying match since a heartbreaking playoff loss in 2009-10, Levski Sofia managed to equalize against Borac Banja Luka in the first leg.
